George T. Harding IV, MD, attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA, and received his medical degree in 1953. Then, he served his internship at Ohio State University Hospital, now The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, OH. Furthermore, he conducted his residency in psychiatry at Harding Hospital in Columbus, OH, and The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas. In addition, Dr. Harding IV received board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The grandnephew of President Warren G. Harding, Dr. George T. Harding IV is the grandson of George T. Harding II. His grandfather was the first Adventist psychiatrist, who started the Harding Hospital in Columbus, OH, in 1916. The Harding Hospital merged with Ohio State University Medical Center in 1999. Prior to medical school, Dr. Harding IV acquired an AB degree from La Sierra University in 1949.
